Sharon Walden was born and raised in Toronto. She attended the University of Toronto for her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. After a summer scholarship program she soon realized that she wanted to treat people. She attended the Universtiy of Toronto Dental School where ahe completed her degree with honours in 1996. After dental school she completed a one year residency at Mt. Sinai hospital in Toronto.

Sharon has since practiced been practicing in a private clinin in the downtown beach area.

She is a member of the Ontario Dental Association and Alpha Omega Dental Fraterniy.

She has three children who keep her busy when not at work. She enjoys tennis and running.
